Saturday night banquet
Like last year there will be a Saturday night banquet at the Hockenheim Ring Hotel located about 300m from the RC track with a nice view on the pitlane of the Formula 1 circuit. The price for the buffet will be 19,-€ including various starters, three different main courses, side dishes and some dessert. After the diner the party continues with music and drinks. Everbody who is interested to participate should contact the organizing team until 30th of May latest.

European Nitro Challenge 2012
We are happy to announce the European Nitro Challenge for nitro on-road cars 2012.
The race will be held from the 7th to 10th of June at the world famous Hockenheim
Formula 1 circut’s RC race track. The race is open to 1/10 and 1/8 scale
nitro on-road cars and will see Open and HobbyCup classes with the
latter need to run Novarossi N12T1 or Sonic .12ProStock engines and
Novarossi N21-5T or Sonic .21ProStock engines respectively. The race
which is organised by Shepherd with cooperation partners Serpent, Mugen,
Picco, Sonic and LRP will not allow for tyre additives and already
received entries from pilots like Robert Pietsch, Michael Salven, Dirk
Wischnewski, Daniele Ielasi and many others.

European Nitro Challenge race report
Last weekend fhe first European Nitro Challenge was held at the permant RC track of the RC Team Hockenheim located at the world famous Hockenheim Ring Formula 1 circuit. About 80 drivers entered the different classes, among them many international top racers like Robert Pietsch, Daniele Ielasi, Ronald Völker and Michael Salven.

Salven and Schäfer win open classes
The 1/8th scale open class was won by Michael Salven (Serpent) while the 1/10th class saw Patrick Schäfer (Shepherd) crossing the finishing line in first position. A full report will follow soon.

Daniele Ielasi confirmed
With Daniele Ielasi another former World Champion is confirmed for the race. As he is not only one of the fastest drivers of the world but also one of the most entertaining driver, a lot of fun should be guarenteed.
